Cambodia38~Siem Reap 38~

When we travel south-east asia, we usually have dragon-fruits in breakfast at Hotel restrant and we have them as welcome fruits in our room. About dragon-fruits, its color is bright red and its taste is a little sweet like kiwi-fruits. The dragon-fruits is a kind of cactus so it has protuberance like needle. If we buy them in Japan, it costs about 300 to 500 Japanese Yen. On the other hand, if we buy them in south-east asia it would cost less than 50 Japanese yen. The price which we usually see is meanigless but the strange price comes from relations of supply and demand in the world. Through the trip, I got some canker sore in my mouth so it was painful for me to eat something. However, after I come back to Japan, the canker sore was cured shortly. I am not sure about the reason why it was cured so quickly, but maybe it comes from amount of nutorition. Each contries in south-east asia is developping now, the people in such countries are not as tall as developped contries. Some food in that contries are maybe not so much full with nutrition. The reasons were not only amount of nutorition but also change of environment. Japanese people usually feel stress too much when they travell abroad because it is too much convinient to live in Japan. Change of environment like foods and water and langage barrier disturb Japanese. I do not know how other people in foreign contries feel, but they usually seem more optimistic than Japanese, so they are not so much disturbed by such changes. Of course it depends at time and depends on the person...
China is also clarified as developping country, but the chairman of IOC(International Olympic Commitee) told that Beijin Olympic was exceptional. Shanghai, Beijin in mainland China and Hong Kong are developped as well as developped contries. Its GDP is increasing for this several years and it will become second to USA which has biggest GDP in the world by overtaking Japan. There are many problems due to the communism, but the market mechanism makes China's economy greater. One of the problem is difference problem in mainland China. It is considered that the difference had been made by the rapidly economic growth and government policy failure. I am not sure that this is a failure of communism, but it is certain that many upstarts appeared because of the sharp rise in the market of equity and real estate with sacrifice of poor people. In Europe, people are interested in the suppression by the government to people living in Tibet. Though Japan is the next country, informarion about Tibet hardly appears. The reason why the information hardly appears is uncertain but it is possible for mass communication voluntarily to restrict the report for Tibet with taking the relation with government into consideration.
It is said that the fight between communism and capitarism had finished for the moment through the collapse of the Berlin wall. In south-east asia, Vietnum and Kanbodia have history that they had been suffered significantly through the fight between communism and capitarism, the Vietnum war and civil war in Kanbodia. Recently, in the USA which commits to capitarism most in the world, some people criticize the capitarism. I am not sure that the increase of criticism against capitarism is called becoming communism, the turbulence which arise from the bursting of the bubble economy has been continuing. The bubble economy started with cutting the federal fund rate to historical low level. Cutting rate stimulates the real estate market into bubble and expansion of real estate market made an extensive economic recovery. Consequently, the equity market became bullish and participants of the market came to believe that the market would expand eternally(everlastingly). The decline happened in real estate market triggered the collapse of bubble economy and people drawed their money up from those markets. The money which had nowhere to go rushed into the commodity markets.
It is obvious that the price of equity and real estate decline during depression and the price of bonds and commodity boost sharply as the history shows. Crude oil is a major item in commodity market and the increase in price leads inflation all over the world. Moreover, many participants are attracted by bio-ethanol is for some substitutes of crude oil and that happens boost in the price of corn and soybean, which affects inflation. The self-sufficiency ration for grain of Japan is ranked lower in the world, so people in Japan are highly affected by the inflation. As the inflation rate of necessaries is over 5%, people who earn less than average are sensitive about the price. As a result, the domestic demand suluggish further, and Japanese Government showed the opinion that Japanese economy has already entered in the recession.
